I ❤️ Public Education
We are a community-led initiative dedicated to protecting and strengthening public schools by advocating for equitable funding and resources. With the proposed Texas budget allocating $1 billion to private school vouchers through the Education Savings Account program, our public schools are facing severe underfunding. This shift threatens to widen disparities, leaving $686 per public school student compared to $16,667 per private school student. Our campaign aims to raise awareness, mobilize action, and ensure every child in our community has access to quality education. While we focus on Denton ISD, we welcome individuals and communities statewide to join us in amplifying this critical issue.
