What do I write in my email?

Write about why you are supporting and advocating for public schools. Make sure to include your name, city, and zip code on the email. An elected only needs to listen to you if you are one of their constituents.

Here are some ideas of what you could write:

"I believe in supporting public schools. Please remove ESAs and invest in our kids’ futures."

"I want to see public education prioritized over private interests. Fund our schools, not ESAs."

“I care about every child having access to quality education. Public schools need this funding."

"I’m asking you to protect public education by rejecting ESAs and reinvesting in our public school students."

“I stand with public schools and our community. Please allocate funds back to public education."
