What do I write in my email?
Write about why you are supporting and advocating for public schools. Make sure to include your name, city, and zip code on the email. An elected official only needs to listen to you if you are one of their constituents.
Here are some ideas of what you could write:
"I believe in supporting public schools. Please prioritize public education funding and invest in our kids’ futures."
"I want to see public education prioritized”
“I care about every child having access to quality education. Public schools need more funding."
"I’m asking you to protect public education”
“I stand with public schools and our community. Please prioritize funds to public education."
